We’re excited to announce that Ugg Express’ annual Wear Your Uggs Day is back,
and this year we have teamed up with the mental health organisation Beyond Blue.
As nearly half of us will experience a mental health condition in our lifetime,
the work that Beyond Blue and its 24/7 support service does to help people in need is crucial.
The past years have undoubtedly tested the mental health and well-being of every person
in Australia and more than 800 people will reach out to Beyond Blue every 24 hours.
That’s why now, more than ever, services such as Beyond Blue’s support line are incredibly important.
Approximately 3.4 million people in Australia live with anxiety. On average, nine people take their own lives every day in Australia, seven of whom are men. Nearly half of all adults, amounting to 8.5 million people, have experienced a mental health condition in their lifetime. This year, we hope to work with Beyond Blue to improve mental health outcomes and contribute our efforts to help people feel better sooner.
