How to wear UGG thongs

In Australia, "thongs" are a common summer shoe, made from durable, heat-resistant rubber. At UGG Express, our range extends beyond rubber thongs to include fluffy slides, strappy sandals and slip-on flats.

With so many designs available, here are some styling notes for the range:

Fluffy slides pair well with high-waisted shorts and a loose-fitting linen shirt in warmer weather, or with linen pants and a knotted shirt on cooler days. Our Poppin Slides feature a platform sole for extra height.

For tougher terrain, our Mick Sandal Slides use a cushioned cork sole with a suede upper, providing support for long walks while keeping feet cool.

For a sportier look, our Women Flats Lace Sneaker Josie pairs well with denim shorts and a casual tee, or a blazer for a smarter daytime look.

Our Beatia Chunky Platform Sandals use a PVC upper with a PU lining and a 4.7cm platform sole, suited to a beach outfit layered with a light kimono.

For the office, our Women Slide Loafer Grier is made with a sheepskin upper and a pigskin lining, offering a closed-toe option suited to a smart-casual workwear look.

Our UGG slides are made from durable materials

All of our fluffy slides are made with genuine Australian sheepskin. The sheepskin lining is moisture-wicking and helps regulate temperature, so the slides stay comfortable in warm weather. A durable rubber sole is used across the range for flexibility and everyday wear.

Our office-appropriate slides use durable lamb and pigskin with a rubber sole, with a backless design suited to varying indoor temperatures. Some styles, such as our AS UGG Women Fluffy Slides Puffy, use a fluffier texture suited to wear beyond the summer months.

Tips for shopping UGG slides and sandals online

We offer 30 days to exchange or return unworn, unused shoes with tags attached, along with a three-month warranty against defective materials and workmanship.

A few tips to help with sizing when shopping online:

Our shoe sizes follow international footwear standards. Check our size guide to match your size to the international equivalent.

If unsure, measure your foot while barefoot for a more accurate guide, and consider sizing up if you have wider or higher feet.

Sheepskin and leather styles will stretch and mould to your foot shape over time, so a snug initial fit is normal.

If you plan to wear socks with your sandals or slides in cooler months, factor this into your size selection.

If you need help choosing a size, contact our support team at support@uggexpress.com.au, or visit one of our New South Wales or Victorian stores to try styles on in person.

If your size is out of stock, you can sign up for restock notifications and we'll email you when it's back.
